This beautiful top is the perfect piece for summer days, made it with an elastic thread and a 2.75 mm hook.

 Pattern is written for small size, if you want a bigger size just increase the number of chains at the beginning.

Hook size 2.75 mm

Elastic thread

With a 2.75 hook chain 158

Row1: HDC in 3rd chain from hook, HDC all across.

Row2: Chain 2, turn,*3 HDC, 2HDC in the same stitch*, repeat from * to * all across.

Row 3: Chain 2, turn, HDC each stitch across.

Row 4: Chain 2, turn *3 HDC tog in the same stitch, CH1, sk 1 stitch* Repeat from * to *

Row 5: Chain 2, turn. Repeat Row 1.

Row 6: Ch 2, turn *4 HDC, 2HDC in the same stitch*, repeat from * to * all across

Row 7: Ch2, turn. Repeat Row 1

Row 8: Ch 2, turn.  Repeat Row 4

Row 9: Ch 2, turn. Repeat Row 1, join with sl st in first HDC of previous round.

Row 10-11: HDC all across, join with sl st in first HDC

Row 12: Repeat Row 4

DIVIDING FOR ARMHOLES

DIVIDE WORK IN HALF, DIVIDE AGAIN TO OBTAIN ARMHOLES…

Row 13: 2 ch, HDC until 1^st marker, 15 ch, join to next marker with a HDC, HDC until next marker, 15 ch, join to next marker with a HDC, HDC until the end, join with a Sl St.

NOTE: FROM NOW YOU HAVE TWO OPTIONS… YOU CAN KEEP CROCHETING JOINING TO THE BEGINNING OF EACH ROW, OR YOU CAN CROCHET ALL AROUND IN SPIRAL UNTIL COMPLETE THE WORK….
